In Norway we have a saying that we are born with skis on our feet. I believe that is true for me, but I was also born with a pencil in my hand!
Helen Munch Design was founded with a strong need to create and make art that feels good through storytelling and happy outdoor experiences.

I believe we all need some colors and happy art in our life.

I’m a former telemark skier, surfer, longboarder and skiinstructor, I have travelled the world with only a backpack and my surfboard or my skis at hand. Always with my Sketchbook within reach!
Now I’m older and bad knees are limiting my activities to nordic skiing, yoga, SUP and hiking. Good enough! I’m still seeking the simple things in life; being with people I love, doing the things I love.

Formally I have an MFA in Computer Arts from Academy of Art in San Francisco, and a BC in Graphic Design and Photography from Edith Cowan University in Perth.
